Peppers On The Plaza in Downtown Cheyenne This Weekend

How much do you love peppers? You can prove how much this weekend at the Union Wireless Peppers on the Plaza.

For five dollars you can get a wristband that will allow you to taste some chili and salsa.

Individuals and teams are competing to win the prize of being the best red chili, the best green chili and the best salsa.

The Union Wireless Peppers on the Plaza is sanctioned by the International Chili Society and Chili Appreciation Society International.

On Saturday and Sunday, Salsa tasting begins at 11:30 a.m., green chili tasting gets underway at 1 p.m. and red chili tasting starts at 2:30 p.m. The Mile High Regional Chili Competition is Saturday and Sunday is the Wyoming State Chili Competition.

Entertainment will be provided by the bands, Five 13 and Amplified Souls.
