Peppers On The Plaza Is All Day Saturday!

Peppers on the Plaza, Cheyenne’s Chili Cook-Off will be held at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza in Downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Saturday, June 9th, 2012 - 11:00am - 7:00pmFeatures

Folks from far and near come to show off their recipes.  If you just love the taste of chili a wristband can be purchased for $5 that gets you all the chili you want until it runs out.

Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) Cook-Off & Junior Competitions (under 18)
Cook-off’s feature three categories: Traditional Red Chili, Chili Verde, and Salsa.

LOCATION
Cheyenne Depot Plaza – Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.  Judging will be in-side the Depot Lobby.

PRIZES for CASI COOK-OFF
 Traditional Chili Red – 1st, 2nd, 3rd places receive trophies. 4th – 10th places receive ribbons.
 Chili Verde – 1st , 2nd, 3rd places receive trophies. 4th – 10th places receive ribbons.
 Salsa – 1st & 2nd places receive trophies. 4th – 10th places receive ribbons.
 Showmanship – Trophy for most creative/showmanship – must cook red chili
 People’s Choice – Trophy for People’s Choice Award
