No injuries are reported from an emergency landing of a single engine airplane at the Cheyenne Airport Golf Course Friday morning, according to the Cheyenne Police Department.

The plane, carrying a trainer and a student pilot, landed around 9:30 a.m. after suffering from engine problems. The airplane is a 1978 single wing Cessna.

The golf course was judged to be the safest open area to land the plane.
