
Police:Assault Suspect Apparently Shot Himself
Cheyenne Police say a 40 year old Cheyenne resident who was wanted for aggravated assault as well as outstanding county warrants apparently shot himself before he could be arrested.
According to a press release from the department, Brady Wake was being sought for an aggravated assault with a weapon Tuesday night. Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 the Cheyenne Police-Laramie County Sheriff's Department SWAT team was called to 1504 South Trail Way on a report that Wake had been located. According to the release when the team entered the garage they found Wake dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The incident remains under investigation by police detectives, according to the department.
