The Cheyenne Animal Shelter board late Tuesday afternoon announced the suspension of CEO Bob Fecht without pay for two months.

The move was in response to Fecht's decision to pepper spray an 8-month old pit bull mix named Tanner the day after the dog bit a shelter employee. Fecht will begin serving his suspension on Friday.

An online poll conducted on the Townsquare Media of Cheyenne websites Monday and Tuesday found a plurality of those responding (47 percent) wanted Fecht to resign his position and to be charged with animal cruelty.

Almost 2,000 people answered the unscientific poll. So what do you think fo the board's decision to suspend Fecht?

We'll publish the poll results on Friday.
