POLL: Should The Vote On The 6th Penny Sales Tax Be Moved To Aug 2017?

Some 'water cooler' discussions around town have questioned whether or not to move the vote of the 6th Penny Sales Tax to August as to reevaluate the items on the menu.

Some people are not happy with the fact that 'want' projects have been mingled in with 'need' projects on the list.

For example, putting a 7 million dollar city gymnasium project in the same group as a 3 million dollar for renovations in a fire station and to refurbish equipment they need.

Some have stated that this was a 'sneaky' way to put want projects in with the needs. Especially coming on the heels of the Children's Museum going down in flames from the voters of Laramie County.

What are your thoughts? Do you like the way the 6th Penny projects have been grouped? Or would you like to see the system changed and hold off on the vote until August 2017?
