Portland Taiko Perform at Cheyenne’s South High School March 1

When you listen to music, is your favorite instrument the drums?

Then you need to see Portland Taiko on Thursday, March 1, at 7 p.m. in the Cheyenne South High School auditorium. The Laramie County Community College Foundation is hosting the event which is sponsored by the Wyoming Tribune Eagle.

Taiko is described as visual music. Portland Taiko is an award-winning Asian-American drumming ensemble formed in 1994. The group weaves together rhythm, melody, humor and movement to create an exhilarating musical experience that's fun for the whole family.
