We’ve seen legalized marijuana bring multiple millions of dollars to Colorado and the profits are piling up for the associated business just as they have for alcohol and other businesses. Some have the ample financial reserves to be able to put their money into advertising and similar projects. Invesco did it at Mile high, but they’re having their own financial problems and there is a question as to whether they will be able to make their next payment on the bill for having their name on the front of Mile High.

Mile High, that’s what the name should be but deals were struck and they shelled out the cash. Former Denver Mayor Wellington Web has an interesting take in this report from Denver 7 on a Marijuana Dispensary wanting to purchase the naming rights of the field famous for Broncos football.

Denver marijuana dispensary Native Roots is making a run at taking over if Invesco bows out. Breweries seem to be acceptable for sporting activities and facilities across America, but now the NFL will have to decide if they want to be associated with a product or service that is illegal by federal law in the United States but has been legalized locally in Colorado and other states. Can you imagine a player getting arrested for marijuana but then being reprimanded by the league associated even remotely with a bong manufacturer?

With other states climbing on board the money express, they will also have to make decisions whether to allow the evil weed to infiltrate the allegedly legitimate world.

So, here’s my question to you: If Wyoming were to legalize pot, would you allow War Memorial Stadium to be renamed to something marijuana related? Beer related? Alcohol, male enhancement, gambling???…. Where is the line? It may be coming.
