A spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service says a Laramie County "Most Wanted" fugitive was captured Wednesday in Cheyenne.

Justin Stephenson says Ralph Carabajal Jr. was wanted on felony warrants for probation violations. The charges were cruelty to a child under 16 and interference with a peace officer with injury.

Stephenson says after the fugitive task force asked for information about Carabajal, tips from the public began coming in about where Carabajal was staying.

Stephenson says the arrest was made in Cheyenne Wednesday afternoon by U.S. Marshals, Cheyenne Police Department and Laramie County Sheriff's Department.

He says public information was a major aid in the investigation.

Carabajal at last report was being held in the Laramie County jail awaiting a court hearing.
