Just 20 Wyoming high school teams are playing this weekend and after Friday night, only 10 will be left.

All five classes in prep football are competing in the football semi-finals this weekend. Winners advance to the state championship games in Laramie next weekend. The losers are finished for the season.

Here are the best games to keep an eye on this weekend.

  • 1

    Big Horn at Cokeville

This class 1A showdown features undefeated Cokeville against defending state champs Big Horn. Cokeville's defense pitched four shutouts this year, and Big Horn boats one of the best offensive attacks in all of prep football. Kickoff is Friday at 1 p.m.

  • 2

    Green River at Torrington

This 3A matchup from Torrington kicks at 7 p.m. Friday night. Green River went 6-2 in the regular season, and Torrington 7-1. Both teams had little trouble with their first \-round opponents, Torrington walloped Worland 46-21 and Green River downed Douglas 28-7.

  • 3

    East at Natrona

NC hosts the Thunderbirds Friday night at 7 p.m. The two teams met back in week 4 of the regular season, also in Casper. After a defensive struggle the Mustangs prevailed 14-7.

  • 4

    Burlington at Kaycee

The six-man semi-final game from Kaycee kicks at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon. Burlington is 8-1 after only losing very early, in week two to Farson-Eden, and by only 2 points. Burlington is perfect on the year at 9-0 after the first round playoff win against Midwest.

  • 5

    Upton-Sundance at Pine Bluffs

Pine Bluffs will be a fairly big favorite in this one on paper, in fact the Hornets just knocked off the Bobcats 28-14 in week 8. But, look for Upton-Sundance to return with some adjustments and a hungry attitude after they beat Rocky Mountain in the first round of the playoffs on the road. Kickoff from Pine is at 6 p.m.
