More than 130,000 pounds of chicken nuggets are being recalled by Tyson Foods, as they may contain hard plastic in them, that cannot be detected by a metal detector.

This recall is based on consumers complaining about chicken nuggets possibly having "foreign material contamination."

According to the food maker, that plastic material may be in the nuggets because of some plastic rods that got in the chicken. Because plastic cannot be read by metal detectors, there is not way to identify their presence in them.

The U.S.D.A. has more details on which products were possibly contaminated. Please be advised that this is a Class I Recall, therefore you should throw out the alleged contaminated products or take them back to the store you bought them from, for a return.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to Tyson Foods' Consumer Relations hotline at 866-328-3156. Please be careful.
