Relay For Life Of Cheyenne Raises Big Bucks To Help Fight Cancer [VIDEO]

Relay For Life of Cheyenne has been working hard for the past months to help raise money to help fight cancer. Saturday was a nice turn out and participation was good.

36 teams and 267 participants raised $77,355.93 in Laramie County for the 2016 Relay for Life Event at Okie Blanchard at East High School.

It was a hot day in June and many people were out and about in purple to commemorate the 2016 event. There was food, games, music and people walking around the track with their teams.

The cancer survivors got to walk around on their own to the tune of 'We are the Champions.' Congratulations to the organizations, businesses and residents who helped raise funds this year to help fight this dreaded disease.
