Respecting Veteran’s Day – Who’s Closed

Veterans Day closures include federal, state, county and city government offices, Cheyenne/ Laramie County Health, USPS, Cheyenne Transit Authority

There’ll be no trash pickup by the Cheyenne Sanitation Department with Tuesday’s pickups done Saturday, LCSD 1, Destiny Christian Academy and St. Mary’s Catholic School are on early release, while LCSD2 and LCCC will run per usual. Stride Learning Center will hold no classes but offices will be open.

Laramie County County Library & Meals on Wheels closed.

Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center closed but emergency medical care will be available.

On this day off, or still on the job, remember and honor those who have helped to make this country great and secure. A Veterans Day indoor ceremony will be held at American Legion post 6 with the serving Shepard’s Pie following and VFW Post 1881 will host an indoor ceremony and lunch.
