CHEYENNE LETTER CARRIERS ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF THE MAY 12 STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE!

On Saturday, May 12, 2012, the Cheyenne letter carriers collected 43,295 lbs of non-perishable food during the National Stamp Out Hunger!™ food drive. This is a 10,000 lb increase over last year’s total of more than 30,000 lbs.

Stamp Out Hunger, in its 20th year, is conducted by National Association of Letter Carriers and is the nation’s largest single-day food drive.  The food stays in the local community.   This year’s recipients included Comea House, Needs Inc., Safehouse Services, The Salvation Army, and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
