A Questionable Retirement Plan

(Ed Yourdon/yourdon/Flickr)

We’ve heard the politicians: Social Security is going to run out of money. Maybe by the time our grandkids retire. Maybe before I retire. (Oh no!) Even worse, maybe Uncle Sam’s checks are already bouncing!! What to do? An El Paso, Texas woman thought she had it worked out.

According to the El Paso Times, 68-year-old Concepcion Bertha Montoya was attempting to, ahem, supplement her income by running snow. Immigration officials busted the grandmotherly Montoya Wednesday when a drug dog got its handler’s attention.

It seems safe to assume Montoya, if guilty, wasn’t just bringing up some cocaine for personal use. Because if that’s the case, she was planning on throwing one hell of a party. Forty pounds of party.
