Have you made your plans for New Year's Eve yet?  Townsquare Media will be ringing in 2015 with the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Visit Cheyenne, The Depot Museum and the City of Cheyenne for two big events at the Depot.

We'll kick off the festivities at 4 pm on New Year's Eve for a free family event with the Children’s Museum Board. We'll have lots of games and activities for the kids, including a juggler, crafts and a fireworks show just for the young ones.  The children's party will conclude with a mini ball drop at 6 pm.

Then at 9 pm, the adult party begins in the Depot Plaza and Lobby with live music, dancing, fireworks, food vendors, champagne and a cash bar.  Then, at the stroke of midnight, a 75-ton crane will gently lower a 300 lb. steel ball with over 200 lbs. of LED lights to the plaza floor.  The party will continue until 1 am.

Once again, this year's event is free to the public.  Last year, nearly 4,500 spectators attended the New Year's Eve Ball Drop.  For more info on this year's event, visit the Cheyenne Depot Museum online.

Of course, this event wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, CBS Channel 5, C.H. Yarber Construction, Simon Contractors and the Downtown Development Alliance.
