The machines are taking over.

In this video, a robot made in Japan displays an extraordinary proficiency at rock-paper-scissors. The Janken robot (named after Japan's name for the game) is as dominant as Peyton Manning against a Pop Warner football team, displaying an amazing 100% victory rate. That's right -- the Janken can't be beaten.

The secret? The Janken recognizes the shape the human hand throws out almost instantaneously, which makes your attempts to win amusingly pointless.

We think this is merely the beginning. First, it's rock-paper-scissors. The next thing you know, the Janken is tossing no-hitters against you in wiffle ball and shutting you out in ping-pong. Before you know it, 'The Terminator' stops being a sci-fi classic and is a gripping real-life documentary.
