Finally, there’s a chance for the fans who crashed the gate at the original Woodstock music festival to make up for not buying tickets to the legendary three-day event in August 1969.

A historic sign from the festival’s site in Bethel, N.Y., is in bad shape, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is behind a campaign to raise the $24,000 needed for its restoration.

An anonymous donor has contributed $12,000. As for the other 12 grand that’s needed, the Rock Hall has raised $11,926 through its Kickstarter fundraising campaign as of early afternoon Aug. 8. Pledges will be accepted up until midnight ET on Aug. 15.

The sign will be on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum this month to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, which featured now-legendary performances by Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Who, among others.
