Rocker Jack White To Play Two Acoustic Concerts in Jackson Today

Jack White's Wyoming mystery show was unveiled this morning. The alt rocker will play perform two acoustic concerts today at the Pink Garter Theatre in Jackson.

According to his website, Jackwhiteiii.com, his first show will take place this afternoon at 4 p.m, followed by another performance at 8 p.m.  Tickets for the afternoon matinee will go on sale today at Noon at the Pink Garter Theatre box office. Tickets for the evening show will go on sale 4 p.m. The doors will open one hour prior to each performance. Tickets are $3, cash only, and are limited to only one per person.

The Jackson concerts mark the third stop on White's tour of the five states he had yet to perform in as a solo artist or a member of the White Stripes, The Dead Weather or The Raconteurs. The tour kicked off in Anchorage, Alaska, on Monday night before heading to Boise, Idaho. last evening. White is expected to wrap up his series of acoustic concerts in South Dakota and North Dakota before taking an extended hiatus from touring.
