‘Seinfeld’s’ Mr Pitt, Ian Abercrombie, Dies at 77 [VIDEO]

Ian Abercrombie's name may not be familiar, but you've probably seen or heard him on one of your favorite shows.

Abercrombie died Thursday, January 26 of kidney failure but left his mark in memorable performances on TV and in movies.

He's probably best known for his 9 episodes of 'Seinfeld' playing Elaine's boss Mr. Pitt.

Abercrombie also had a recurring role on Disney Channel's 'Wizards of Waverly Place' as Professor Crumbs, the headmaster of the wizard council.

In the Oscar nominated film 'Rango,' Abercrombie voiced the character of Ambrose. He also voiced Palpatine for the animated 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' movie.

Just before his death, Abercrombie did the voice of Ganthet in Cartoon Networks 'Green Lantern: The Animated Series.'
