Sexual assault is no laughing matter and Laramie County Community College is taking it seriously.  Beginning this semester, all Laramie Community College Students must take a two hour assessment regarding sexual assault before they are able to register for spring classes.

This is in lieu of a presidential directive, signed by President Obama, that demands higher education institutions train all of their students about the effects of sexual abuse, thus emphasizing sexual assault prevention. The title of the training is called, "Think About It" and is aimed at bringing Obama's dream to a reality.

LCCC has also met the demands of President Obama in incorporating the Title IX requirements and establishing an online interactive training system for Laramie County Community College students.

For students and parents wanting more information concerning the training, they are directed to contact Dr. Jill Koslosky, Dean of Students, at www.campusclarity.com.
