A Massachusetts man, Eugene Finney, was vacationing in Huntington Beach, California back in July, when he got rammed in the back by a shark. Luckily it didn't bite him, but he ended up with a foot-long scrape on his back.

Later, experiencing back and chest pains, he went to the emergency room, and they found some internal bruising. But while the doctors were running tests, they also found a cancerous TUMOR on his kidney about the size of a walnut.

Doctors removed the tumor about two weeks ago, and they say he probably won't need radiation or chemo because they caught it so early.

It amazes me how 'Bad luck' can really turn out to be a good thing. Its kind of like Jimi Hendrix breaking his ankle during his 26th jump in training to be a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne and getting out of the army to pursue his guitar.
