Laramie County Sheriff Danny Glick says despite recent foreign terrorist attacks by Muslim extremists, he wants to be clear that he doesn't think most followers of Islam are dangerous.

''There are a lot of folks here of the Muslim faith who are good people," Glick says. But he adds ''but like every group of people, there are those who are bad."

The sheriff says he wants to be clear that law enforcement doesn't view all Muslims as terrorists while recognizing there are segments of that population who do pose a threat.

Glick also says it would be naive to assume there aren't terror cells operating across the country, including in northern Colorado and Wyoming.

He says he's also concerned about "porous borders" that make it easy for terrorists to enter the country undetected from both Canada and Mexico.
