Recently, the Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne made an offer to the city of Cheyenne for the old police headquarters building. Some say they should offer it to an open bid.

The Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne made an offer of $1,090,000 to the city of Cheyenne to use as office space for the church.

However, the majority of the City Council rejected that idea and, instead, would like to see an open bid process to see if there is other interest with the potential of a better deal.

We would like to know your thoughts on this? Please take the poll below and tell us if you think the city should have taken the deal from the Catholic Diocese or should it go to an open bid?
