Do you feel overwhelmed with stuff? You're not alone, just watch the Hoarders TV show.

Even guitarist Slash, formerly of Guns N' Roses, admits to being a hoarder of guitars, top hats, T-shirts, leather and other rock and roll paraphernalia.

This weekend he will auction off many of his prized possessions in Beverly Hills at Julien's Auctions. Items range from old Led Zeppelin and Motorhead T-shirts to a 1966 Corvette with a matching red-and-black Gibson Les Paul guitar. Slash says it was the first good car he ever owned.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he says the idea for an auction began when he started giving T-shirts to charity and discovered there was something cathartic about just getting rid of stuff.

Also on the auction block is the Les Paul guitar he played at this year's Super Bowl halftime show with Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas. There's even a couple leather jackets that go back to before Guns N' Roses that he says have real histories.

Slash is currently on tour and working on his next record with singer Myles Kennedy. He also has a horror movie production company called Slasher Films that he recently started.
