Slash has finally revealed the name and cover art of his upcoming solo disc featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.

Slash has announced that the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2010 solo album will don the cryptic title ‘Apocalyptic Love.’ The top-hatted one has once again joined forces with producer Eric Valentine for the not-so-solo album. “I love how diverse his tastes were,” Slash said of working with Valentine on his previous solo record. “Somehow he just managed to catch on [to] exactly what was going on in my head. So we just clicked right away.”

It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that one of the most iconic guitarists of all time could successfully transition to a solo career, but the latest release is anything but a one-man show. “I’m a band guy,” Slash told Rolling Stone of his decision to record ‘Apocalyptic Love’ with a full band. “I still have my name on the marquee and everything, but I’m just not a dictator, I don’t want to rule anything. I like to hear what other people’s ideas are and so on and so forth.”

The album cover art (above) for ‘Apocalyptic Love’ features an illustration of two vixens — an angel and a devil — on either side of a guitar wrapped by a slithering snake.

Slash is reported to appear with the original members of Guns N’ Roses for their April 14 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction before hitting the road with his band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to support the May 22 release of ‘Apocalyptic Love’ this spring — click here for tour dates.
