Snow Watch: January 23, 2014

We waited and it came, a cold mid-winter snow in Cheyenne!

I know we've been longing for Spring, and with it, warmer temperatures. But it's still the middle of winter in Cheyenne. Last night we watched temperatures drop and the snow front move in, leaving us with real cold temps and a few inches of snow.

Today? Such a beautiful Thursday morning with a nice dusting of fluffy white stuff and not-so-messy roads.

As I type this: It's 1 degree outside and we should hit 30 degrees today. 52 degrees by Saturday. Just a beautiful and brief winter intrusion on Mother Nature's part this morning.
