Will you be catching any of the bands at the Snowy Range Music Festival this weekend?

Canned Heat are the headliners on Friday, August 30, at the Albany County Fairgrounds in Laramie. Their current line up includes Harvey Mandel on guitar, Fito De La Parra on drums, Larry Taylor playing bass and vocals and Dale Spalding handling harmonica, guitar and vocals. They are scheduled to play 7:45 to 9:15 on the main stage.There will be a change in the line up for Saturday, August 31, as country singer LeAnn Rimes has cancelled due to illness. She was also scheduled to perform in Sheridan on Friday but has cancelled that concert too.

According to the Snowy Range Music Festival facebook page, Travis Tritt will take the place of LeAnn Rimes and there will be performances by A.J. Croce, Jim Croce's son, BeauSoleil Avec Michael Doucet and Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band on Saturday, August 31.

The music continues on Sunday, September 1, with bands including Jalan Crossland, the March Fourth Marching Band, BlindDog Smokin' and Taylor Scott with Erica Brown. It all wraps up Sunday night with the Extravajama featuring Leftover Salmon, Sam Bush, Keller Williams, Andy Hall and Bill Payne, keyboardist from Little Feat.
