False Alarms in Cheyenne Will Cost You

City of Cheyenne will fine you for false alarms starting tomorrow.

KGWN-TV is reporting that starting tomorrow, the city will fine you for every false alarm. The ordinance went in effect in September, but the fines begin tomorrow. The false alarm reports are in the thousands and went up 11% in 2013.

The citation is $200.00 if you are not in compliance and the city is requiring you to obtain an activation permit with a $100.00 fee.
