A special ''Cowboy Triangle" transportation plan has been announced to shuttle CFD visitors between Frontier Park, downtown Cheyenne and the CFD ''Park-n-Ride" lots.

Both Cheyenne city and Laramie County School District#1 busses will be used in the program. The initial "Park-n-Ride" fee is $10 per carload of people. That fee will allow visitors access to Frontier Park. The fee to ride the busses is $1.00 or a token.

The program will allow Frontier Days visitors to park their car for the entire day or any part of it.

The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority and local merchants are providing 8,000 tokens for bus passengers on the Cowboy Triangle. Once those tokens are used up the bus rides will cost $1.00 per passenger.

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the Cowboy Triangle plan is designed to reduce congestion on city streets, encourage people to visit Downtown Cheyenne and generally improve convenience of travel during CDF 2015.

The program is a joint effort among Cheyenne Frontier Days, The City of Cheyenne, The Cheyenne Transit Program (CTP), Laramie County School District#1 and the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority.

The program will run through the duration of CFD 2015.
