Cheyenne firefighters made quick work of a commercial structure fire in east Cheyenne Friday morning.

Crews were called to the 3500 block of Cheyenne Street around 6:30 a.m.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from a steel structure.

Crews had the fire under control in about 10 minutes and no one was injured in the blaze.

The estimated damage to the commercial unit is unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
