The local economy is continuing to show signs of improvement, according to Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Dale Steenbergen.

He cites a declining unemployment rate, strong housing market and a growing tech sector. Steenbergen cites the recent expansion of Greenhouse Data in Cheyenne as an example of the growth of tech industries in Laramie County. Steenbergen also says the local oil industry is showing steady growth.

But Steenbergen says he is hearing a lot of concerns from businesses about health care  and what it will cost businesses in coming months and years.
