Have you seen the cover art on Steve Miller's new album? It was created by Storm Thorgerson who's designed covers for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

The Steve Miller Band released Let Your Hair Down on April 19, a companion record to last year's Bingo release which featured cover versions of blues and R & B songs.

The band's 28th album features songs that Steve Miller says moved him to be a musician, done in the Steve Miller Band style. Tracks include: "Snatch It Back And Hold It," "Sweet Home Chicago," "Driftin' Blues," "I Ain't Got You" and "Love The Life I Live."

The album was recorded at the Skywalker Ranch Studios, owned by George Lucas, and features the last sessions with harmonica player Norton Buffalo who died in 2009.

The Steve Miller Band rocked Cheyenne Frontier Days in 2006 and last Summer headlined the Mile High Music Festival. If you want to see the band in concert this year, the Steve Miller Band will play with bluesman Buddy Guy at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on Saturday, July 23rd.
