The bass player for The Police celebrates 25 years as a solo artist this year.

Sting will bring his "Back to Bass" tour to the Wells Fargo Theatre in Denver on November 20. As the title indicates, on this tour he'll be performing stripped down versions of hits from his career.

The band backing Sting on this tour includes his long time guitarist Dominic Miller, guitarist Rufus Miller, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, Peter Tickell on electric fiddle and vocalist Jo Lawry.

Songs for this tour will come from his debut solo album in 1985, "The Dream of the Blue Turtles," to his most recent release, "Live In Berlin," plus a selection of Police tunes.

The tour begins in Boston October 21. Tickets for the concert in Denver go on sale September 26. Link here to check out seating and ticket prices at the Wells Fargo Theatre.
