Laramie County School District #1 Superintendent  says overcrowding in district schools will mean some students won't be able to attend the school closest to their home this fall.

Stock is telling parents to visit the school closest to their homes on August 13th or 14th to find out if that will be the school their children will be assigned to. Stock says parents should bring verification of their address to the school. He says that could be any document which indicates a home address, such as a check stub or a bill which includes an address.

Stock says that while parents can register their students online while visiting the school, they still need to physically appear at the school with address verification. Parents who are not certain of their home school location can get that information at the district website. The first day of school in Laramie County School District 1 is August 27.
