We went searching (not just online) for a good place to find some new winter boots in Cheyenne. They aren't that hard to find anywhere in the Cowboy State.

Sierra Trading Post has the name-brand overstocks and closeouts passing on up to 70 percent. In December 2012, Sierra Trading Post was acquired by the TJX Companies (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Homegoods). After that some addicted customers yelped about Sierra’s return policy changing. Apparently, many would buy special paraphernalia before leaving on a vacation, and just return it upon returning home. The many who did that, until reaching an exorbitant number of returns, got noticed, and more stringently policed, and got invited to not do business with them any longer. Do we blame them? See the exact convenient Cheyenne location here.

Ooops, we got sidetracked by an entry from Fansedge.com, where you can order some cool stuff with UW logos. Otherwise, not much for boots to see there. (Go Pokes.)

If you’re ok with Ebay, they've got selection in sweet looking women’s snow boots.

Maybe you’ll like what you see on this Cabelas.com page. It’s just that it’s quite a drive down I-25 to the nearest in Thornton, CO.

Finally, the first place in Cheyenne I ever actually went to look for boots in any store was a local favorite on Lincolnway – one word: Murdochs.

Good luck. We hope that helps.
