Wyoming's favorite spooky kids movie is a classic that actually shares a name with one of the Cowboy State's towns.

With Halloween right around the corner, we're all looking for ways to soak in all things spooky. For me, that's loading up the DVR with Halloween-themed shows (like Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network) and movies. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon and Hulu are no streaming our favorite spook kids movies.

Which is our favorite in the state of Wyoming?

We look to Frontier Communications for the answer. Recently they compiled data from Google Trends dating back to October 2016 and determined which kid-friendly films were searched for the most in each state. The result for the Cowboy State is pretty punny.

Casper was the most-searched for kid's movie for Halloween. It's live action and involves ghosts, including the friendliest one of them all. According to the map above, we were the only state whose favorite was Casper. You can stream Casper on Netflix.
