Cheyenne police continue to investigate an accident involving a pedestrian that occurred at about 7:50am Wednesday morning  near Baggs Elementary School. The Laramie County School District Community Relations office reports that the girl was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where she was treated for cuts and bruises and was being held overnight for observation. The vehicle was then witnessed leaving the area. The male is described as approximately 5’8” tall, slim build, salt and pepper hair, goatee, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a blue hooded sweatshirt. The truck is a 1990’s black Dodge Dakota extended cab and may have front end damage on the passenger side.
