Taco Tuesday: History and Origins

Taco Tuesday is in the Urban Dictionary and is here to stay!

I've been calling every third day of the week Taco Tuesday on the air for a while now, but I'm just realizing it's everywhere. It's become an after school activity.

Usually the famous Mexican food chains have Taco Tuesday specials. Here in town, we are the headquarters for a chain that has a registered trademark on the actual name “Taco Tuesday®.” The company’s most popular promotion happens on this day, and it started way back in 1982.
