Reportedly the man got out of his truck and after opening a rear door, asked the boys if they could help look for his cell phone. Police Department spokesman Lew Simpson says the two juveniles then said they had to get to school and ran off. They said the man did not attempt to run after them. </p>

<p>Cheyenne police continue to investigate an accident involving a pedestrian that occurred at about 7:50am Wednesday morning  near Baggs Elementary School. Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says when officers arrived on scene and found a 12 year-old Cheyenne girl had been struck by a vehicle while she was crossing the street. The Laramie County School District Community Relations office reports that the girl was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where she was treated for cuts and bruises and was being held overnight for observation. </p>
