Kirshner’s Rock Concerts Contain Epic Footage [VIDEO]

A man who helped launch the careers of a lot of rockers passed away on Monday, Don Kirshner died of heart failure in Florida at 76.  He employed some of the best songwriters in the music business at New York's Brill Building, including Carole King, Neil Diamond and Neil Sedaka, and used them to write songs for projects like The Monkees and the animated band The Archies.  Those were a couple of my favorite TV shows growing up.
