KING Concert Calendar for The First Weekend of May

Are you ready to get out of the house and see some live music?

There's quite a variety of entertainment choices in our area this first weekend of May.

The singer, songwriter from Chicago, John Prine, plays at the Paramount Theatre in Denver on Friday, May 3, with Tim O'Brien.

In Cheyenne, The Midtown Tavern will have a blues singer from Laramie, Tuffy Tanner. Along with some of his friends, he'll play original songs mixed in with upbeat blues tunes starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner,1303 East Pershing Boulevard, and there's no cover charge. We'll be talking with Tuffy Tanner on Friday afternoon on KING FM to give you a preview of the show.

LCCC Presents ‘A Musical Monument for Gettysburg’ Tonight at Civic Center

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania, the site where President Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous address.

Tonight, April 23, the Laramie County Community College Wind Symphony presents 'A Musical Monument for Gettysburg' for free at the Cheyenne Civic Center beginning at 7 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the COMEA House.
