Attention Deadheads! A member of the Grateful Dead will be playing two nights at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre this weekend.

The Mickey Hart Band is part of 'Stellarfest' on Friday, August 24, and Saturday, August 25, at the intimate venue in Colorado's Poudre Canyon.

One way to mark what would have been Jerry's 70th birthday, on August 1, is to watch him perform on the big screen in the 'Grateful Dead Movie.'

Movie theaters across the country will be screening the 1977 film, directed by Jerry Garcia, at seven tonight.

Some of the nearest theaters to Cheyenne showing the film are in Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver.

After hearing the latest news about their Grateful Dead exhibit, I'm considering a trip to the rock music shrine.

'Grateful Dead: The Long, Strange Trip' opens to the public on April 12 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is scheduled to run through December.

This would be the last time I'd see Jerry Garcia perform in concert. The Grateful Dead played three nights at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City February 19th through the 21st.

The band was playing their first shows at this venue and the first in Utah since 1983 and it was the first time in twelve years that the band had begun it's performance year outside of the bay area
