Walter Lassise Retired  Wally saved a veterans life on the job at the Warren Air Force Base a few years ago. Now he is in a wheelchair suffering from ALS (Lou Gherigs Disease). His wife works 40 hours a week to help him, her name is Diane.

Do you remember a favorite teacher who inspired you in school? My journalism and drama teacher at Cheyenne Central High School, Barbara Bobbitt, inspired me to become the writer and broadcaster I am today, so I'd like to recognize her as one of Cheyenne's Hometown Heroes.

Pat served in the USAF for over 24 years and was in Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Starting his military career as an airplane mechanic, he switched to medicine, becoming a Physician Assistant.

Jennifer Gough Pediatric Occupational Therapist Alta Vista Elementary School Jennifer gives her all to the special needs kids she works with at Alta Vista Elementary, and now she has help through her Social Services dog, Jonah, from K9s 4 Mobility.

Charles Weaver United States Army 32nd Signal Battalion 11th Calvary I met Charles at Shadow's Restaurant who told me of his service with the United States Army from 1987 to 1996.  He served with the 32nd Signal Battalion with the 11th Calvary.  He's now serving as a chef at the Cheyenne Veterans Administration hospital.
