Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills is selling items from the legendary guitar inventor's estate this weekend.

Today, June 9, marks the 97th anniversary of Lester Polsfuss' birth in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Les Paul, as he is better known as, is considered to be the father of the electric guitar.
