Doobie Brothers Drummer Mike Hossack Dead at 65

Longtime Doobie Brothers drummer Mike Hossack died at his home in Dubois, Wyoming, on Monday after a long battle with cancer, the Lake County News reports.  He was 65.

Hossack joined The Doobies in 1971 and played on many of the band's most famous songs, including "China Grove," "Listen to the Music," "Long Train Runnin'," "Rockin' Down the Highway," and the chart-topping hit "Black Water."
