The shuttle fleet has kept U.S. astronauts flying to a from orbit longer than any other rocketship.

During their 13-day mission Atlantis delivered a year's worth of supplies to the International Space Station. The payload included 2,677 pounds of food and 9,400 pounds of spare parts. On the return trip, Atlantis carried nearly 5,700 pounds of unneeded material from the station back to Earth. (That's what I call taking out the trash)

If you were around that night, chances are you were watching Neil Armstrong take the first steps on the moon.

Last night I was eating a roast beef sandwich and to me, Arby's and Apollo 11 always go together. The Summer of 1969 we were taking a family vacation to Mesa Verde in southwestern Colorado. We were driving back home through Denver and stopped for dinner. Inside the restaurant they had a small TV everyone was watching, showing coverage of the historic moon landing.
