How would you like to own one of Les Paul's historic guitars? Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills is selling items from the legendary guitar inventor's estate this weekend. Today, June 9, marks the 97th anniversary of Lester Polsfuss' birth in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Les Paul, as he is better known as, is considered to be the father of the electric guitar.

On 'Your Sunday Brunch' we are paying tribute to a legendary bass player, Donald 'Duck' Dunn. He died in his sleep last Sunday, May 13, while on tour in Tokyo with Steve Cropper and Eddie Floyd. We also have some 'Sweet' rock for you and a 'surf band' from San Diego.

Booker T and the MG\'s \'Green Onions\' (YouTube) Legendary bass player, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, died in his sleep on Sunday, May 13, while on tour in Tokyo, Japan, he was 70. Dunn formed The Royal Spades as a teenager, they later became The Mar-Keys. When fellow band member Steve Cropper left the band, the 'Duck' followed and they both became members of the Stax Record label's backup band, Booker T.
