The World Series began Wednesday, October 19, at Busch Stadium featuring two teams from the nation's heartland. One advantage of that is the game times won't end up way late at night or too early in the afternoon like other years when teams from the east or west coasts were involved.

Both teams wrapped up their Championship Series' in six games so they've had a little time to rest before starting the best of seven series for the title.
