Your Sunday Brunch

This weekend is the last 'Your Sunday Brunch' for June so we're getting you ready for Monday's concert in Denver by playing Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' as our 'Album Side Sunday.' At the beginning of the 8 o'clock hour of 'Your Sunday Brunch' we'll feature side one of Def Leppard's 1987 album.

How about treating Dad to 'Your Father's Day Sunday Brunch'? We have some music from fathers and sons in rock and roll, tunes from some of the bands traveling through our area and a song from an early female rocker who will release a new album on Tuesday. Check out the menu on the next page and tune in from seven until ten on Sunday morning.

Do you have a favorite Father's Day song? We want you...to help come up with songs for 'Your Sunday Brunch' this weekend. We will be honoring all the Dads with music about Fathers, by Fathers and some songs that may make you think of Fathers.  Any ideas?

Do you remember the first song you ever bought? For a lot of people, the answer can be very embarrassing. That applies in my case. My very first 45 rpm record was Clint Holmes 'Playground In My Mind.'

It's the last weekend of May and a time to remember those who have served our country in the military. On 'Your Sunday Brunch,' we'll feature The Black Crowes debut album as our 'Album Side Sunday.' It's a Memorial Day weekend, the last Sunday of May, and we're playing half of the debut album from a good ol' American band from Atlanta, Georgia. At the beginning of the 8 o'clock hour of 'Your Sunday Brunch' we're featuring The Black Crowes 'Shake Your Money Maker' as our 'Album Side Sunday.'

On 'Your Sunday Brunch' we are paying tribute to a legendary bass player, Donald 'Duck' Dunn. He died in his sleep last Sunday, May 13, while on tour in Tokyo with Steve Cropper and Eddie Floyd. We also have some 'Sweet' rock for you and a 'surf band' from San Diego.
