Thankful Thursday: Bid on a Date With ALF

Meet Kevin and Alf, two strapping handsome men,one of them could be yous if  the price is right, all in the last Thankful Thursday of the season THIS Thursday night!

It’s going to be a crazy time this Thursday night at the Redwood Lounge, as we wrap up our Thankful Thursday of the season. Tonight you get a DOUBLE shot at winning $500, a slew of auction items will be up for bid including a date with ALF, and it’s all to raise money for another wonderful cause, the Laramie County Community Christmas Food Basket Program, hosted by Alf’s Pub and Package Liquor.

This program is near and dear to Alf’s heart.  The food basket program is put on every year by the American Legion Post 6, who put together hundreds of food baskets for the holidays, and distributes these baskets to families in need in the Cheyenne community who wouldn’t have a Christmas dinner without this program.

“Every year, the cost of food continues to go up, and this year is expected to be the highest,” Alf stated.  “Not only do these Christmas food baskets give a holiday meal to these families, but since children who depend on food programs through their schools are out for the holidays, we try to provide extra food in these baskets to sustain them through the holidays, otherwise these kids might go hungry while they’re on break.”

We’re down to only 56 Coors Light aluminum bottles, all with prizes, three of them have $500, and THIS Thursday, you get DOUBLE arm bands, that mean a DOUBLE shot at winning $500.  The “Central Bank and Trust Thankful Thursday Word of the Week” is also up to $250.  Stop by Central Bank and Trust at 3060 East Lincolnway, (just down the street from the Redwood Lounge,) and pick up the word of the week card.  If we draw your number and we ask you about the word of the week, and you have that card in your hand, you’ll win $250.

And as mentioned above, there’ll be a slew of auction items up for bid with proceeds benefiting the Laramie County Community Christmas Food Basket Program, and among those auction items, a chance to bid on a DATE with ALF!  We’re still trying to talk Kevin into going on the auction block, so there might be a chance to score a date with Kevin as well.

The party gets started at 4:30 p.m., there’ll be drink specials, and there’s NEVER a cover!  Come out with your friends and co-workers, grab a few drinks after work, bid on some great auction items, get a DOUBLE shot at winning $500, bid on a date with Alf, and help raise money for a great cause, all at our LAST Thankful Thursday of the season, THIS Thursday night at the Redwood Lounge, 2105 East Lincolnway.  See you there!
